I felt like I wasn't supposed to like this book, but I did despite myself. Just the idea of a secret language between women thousands of years ago was cool enough for me.
An exceptionally fair look at the Obama administration and other leaders in government, society and entertainment. O'Reilly remains blunt, forward and confident in his assertions, however he does come across as open-minded and fair. I especially enjoyed the interview he conducted with then Senator Barrack Obama.
Children's fiction. Adventure/fantasy. I think this one got good reviews, possibly because the author used to be a big-time newspaper editor. I was not impressed by the cover art and the first chapter failed to snag me, so I'm not expecting this one to fly off the shelves, but it probably would make a fairly good read for any kid that loves books.
I was disappointed at first with the lack of sequel-y continuity with the previous book, but in the end I liked that the book could stand on its own and only had superficial linkages to the previous novel. I really did. I think I almost preferred this book to the other one, if only for the fact that there are no references to Wales (that I can recall).
