This was a fast-paced thriller that kept me guessing. Having been reading many historical mysteries lately, it was good for me to return to the 21st century, with telephones and DNA! The characters were well-developed and interesting, without being too easy to figure out. Bobby Dodge, the main character comes across as being a good cop, but not perfect, and not always predictable. Some of the situations the author placed the characters in stretched believability (now, why would she tell him that??), but other than that, I enjoyed this book and will read more by this author.
