It was such a big hit here in France... I really was expecting more... But it was a good thrill ride I suppose.
certains lines were cuttingly witty and hilarious but whole passages were unbearable to struggle through.
Well, I'm biased, but I think it's a great idea to "disconnect". I enjoyed reading about her family's 6 months with no cell phones, computers, i-Pods, etc. 2 of my favorite parts were when her son gets back into playing his instrument instead of playing video games and relating the "helicopter" parent to the instant connection our cell phones give us. Why would a grown child call their mom from the train station instead of asking a passer-by for directions?
