This fall I found text files of the entire Ender series that my brother had left on my computer, and proceeded to drop out of the universe for a couple of weeks to re-read them. It culminated in my telling my roommate I was going to class and instead sneaking down the hall to read for several more hours without facing her judgement.
You know that Family Guy episode where Stephen King is in his editor's office, and when asked about his next book he picks up the lamp and says: 'it's about a demon lamp! woooo!'? This is that book, but instead of being about a lamp, it just sucks. Spoiler: the girl lives.
