It was a very interesting read, especially since it gave me insight into the traditional Chinese lifestyle, and I love learning about such things from a personal point of view. This modern-day Chinese-American woman is in LA (or some big city like that, San Fransico maybe) and she is dealing with her own mother, and as she does we get her mother's story, which is VERY good.
