Maybe it was intentional, but from beginning to end, I really couldn't stand Samantha's character. Yes, she tried to save lives and make new friends and make things better, but her entire perspective left a sour taste in my mouth. I don't know, maybe because I had experiences with the popular crowd in high school that were negative somewhat clouds my vision, but I didn't see much of a change in Sam. At least, enough for me to like her. overall, was a good book and solid storyline, and there were other likeable characters that saved the plot for me!
