Kiss of Snow was amazing, it more than surpassed my expectations. I adored Sienna, her love for Toby, her family, her guilt over the past, her feelings about her mother, Ming and above all her feelings for Hawke. She was tenacious and single-minded and led Hawke a merry dance, poor him he didn't stand a chance against her and her friends. Can I also say I love Kit!! I loved seeing Sienna with her friends and being a youngster. The bar scenes were awesome. Hawke was a tough nut to crack at first but of course he gave in. He played games with Sienna in deference to what she didn't get in her childhood. I loved the inter-play between them, how Sienna stood up to Hawke and refused to accept his limitations. There were so many sweet and hot moments between them. My favorite moments have to be the bar scene and the dancing which came later, the chase, the card-game and when Hawke just comes to sleep in her room. I also liked the secondary romance between Lara and Walker, it was not hot and heavy but sweet and gradual. The war also escalated, with swords being drawn and the Psy proving that they are not to be taken lightly. We finally find out more about Sienna's ability, her past and even Hawke's past and how he came to be alpha, what happened to his parents and the girl who was to be his mate. There was not a dull moment in the book, it just kept on going. Sascha and Lucas have their baby as well and I loved that scene. I loved seeing Hawke protective about Sienna and refusing to let her take part in the strike. He gives in and respects her abilities as well and their relationship had no rank, no age, just love. This book is a tribute to all the fans who have waited so long for this couple to get together, the wait was so worth it. I will have to do a re-read.
