Well, I was really looking forward to enjoying this book, but I was alternately disappointed and then relieved that I enjoyed a bit of it and then disappointed and then relieved. It was more of a personal journal than I was expecting. Really funny and thoughtful at times. Way too self-absorbed much of the time. I did love the descriptions of places and people. I just wanted to like it more than I actually did.
