Never read of his books but I really enjoyed reading his perspective on writing.
I actually liked this quite a bit more than "The Sun Also Rises," but I wouldn't quite say I loved it. 3.5 stars, I'd give this. I saw the scene much more clearly when I read this than I did with SAR, which probably has more to do with me than with the book, but who knows. Boy, he really couldn't write women very well, though. They're either the dumb hottie or the burly mother with the gun, as is clearly evidenced herein.
