Not worth reading. I liked the story, the character, but so much tragedy without any redeeming value. I kept holding out as I finished the book for something to make it all worthwhile, but it never came. The ending felt like such a huge reach, an artificial means to end the story.
Another book from my little family book club. I highly recommend it, especially as an introduction to a Palestinian Christian perspective. Less academic than Burge's book; a quick but very interesting read.
