Next to Confederacy of Dunces, this is the best book ever written. Pure genius. Seriously.
I just don't really enjoy horror. I thought I'd try this out because I like Dan Simmons, and the characters were done well, but ultimately I don't find the genre interesting. Which means my rating is not really anything to go on if you are a horror fan.
