It’s rare that I don’t make it through a novel. I usually push through no matter what but, sadly, I couldn’t stomach this one. From the very beginning it turned me the wrong way with a self-absorbed arrogant main character. That never changed as I read and I honestly began to loathe her as the chapters wore on. This may have changed later in the book and I fully admit this is an incomplete review because I just couldn’t continue this one. I wish others well with it as it seemed like a cute, chick lit story that will appeal to many people. I think the first chapter can easily be used as a litmus test of whether or not this one will appeal to you as I saw no changes in the part that I was able to complete. I'm giving it two stars because I do feel there is an audience it will appeal to but, unfortunately, I was not one of them. ARC Galley Proof
I loved this book - it's a quick read on the Garden of Eden from Eve's perspective. God is arrogant, Eve is raped, and the serpent is a great mentor and also great in bed!
