I was reading this when he died. There are parts that are slightly incoherent, but that's okay. There are still many, many nuggets of Vonnegutian wisdom in there....
Second novel in his Reykjavik mysteries. As amazing as the first one. A dark tale of abuse, of courage and ultimately of resilience. Erlendur must deal with his daughter in a profound coma, the discovery of a skeleton in the suburbs of Reykjavik where the second World War Army base was situated starts a trip down memory lane and the search for a woman in green, a lost fiancée and in the end the naked truth. Deep, disturbing but wonderful.
