I really enjoyed this story of Bess and the different lives she lived. It was a an engaging story of life, love, and things lost. It was on my to read list from when I tried to win it, here on goodreads, stayed there because I really wanted to read it. Glad I left it there, years later I add to the read list after years. I am glad I saved it and do not regret purchasing it. I have already recommended to friend.
This book started out very slow, so it took me a while to get into it. But after the first 100-150 pages, it really took off, and I couldn't put it down. It was a good mystery read, kind of a who-done it, type of story. Very good book, and I loved that the setting was in Stockholm Sweeden.
