I will give anything that Nicholas Sparks writes a chance, however, this one is my least favorite by far. It was terribly predictable and had a boring story line. Definately not his best work in my opinion.
This is my least favorite of all the Stephanie Plum books. All of these books are stupid, but they usually all make me laugh out loud numerous times. This one just didn't.
loved it
Very intersting read or (listen). I am surprized I never heard of the lost City of Z before, but now I want to learn much, much more. I would not mind to (listen) to this story again for the full effects,
Hm, how many stars should I give it? Some of it is boring as...well, boring as hell. Other parts are simply poetry on wings. Great stuff in there, as well as some things that are better left in 1000 BCE, or whenever the particular part we're thinking of was written. The NIV is a great starter translation for those not familiar with the christian scriptures. Though I have listed other translations that I have enjoyed more over the years. If you're interested look for the others. Especially for my favorite, The Jerusalem Bible. Worth reading for its lyric quality alone. (Although, I won't lie, genealogies are incredibly boring for me. Along with the borderline obsessiveness with lists the various authors have.)
