A completely engaging read for my money. I enjoyed how it was linear without being linear if that's even plausible. The book itself is held together simply by the fact that characters appear in stories other than just their own.(One minute the headliner; the next being a supporting role/extra) Otherwise, this is just a collection of short stories mashed between two covers. I loved how everything was built through individuals and flashbacks. I loved that it is uncommonly laid out. I can understand why people may abhor this book based on the fact that it isn't written like a "normal" novel. I embrace it. Think of it this way, your left arm is going to function differently than your right leg, no? Yet, there are similarities to be found in each. (bones, tendons, ball and socket joint, etc.) Put them together as parts of a complete body, and well, it creates something pretty neat: a person. The Imperfectionists does that as well. It takes a short story that's similar to another short story, molds it together, and creates something pretty neat: an engrossing novel worth reading.

oooooh dear God... finishig this book was pure torture!, and not the good kind. I hate Erin... she's a total bitch with no idea whatsoever of... anything!, she's all over the place with her comments, ideas and actions, she just doesn't make any sense. And I got sooooo tired of hearing about David, a guy who thought everything was more important than loving her. Reece was a total wuss! and the bad guys were not very scary or interesting. The love/sex scenes were so many.... I got tired of them, seriously!
